The Bike Riders

Meet your bunch of adventurous motorbike enthusiasts, who have undertaken the task of vertically conquering the expanse that is India:

Dr. Kaushik Gada is a medical practitioner by profession and an eager traveller and an avid reader by hobbies. His obsession with biking started in 2001, when he first went on an expedition to Kutchh and it has only continued and flowered ever since. He drives a thundering Royal Enfield Bullet who has seen him through the extreme North, the extreme South and the extreme West of India at different points of time in the past. He lives in Dombivli, Mumbai and originally hails from Bada, Kutchh in Gujrat. Active in several social organisations, he has been the President of Dombivli KVO for some time now.


Mr. Ravindra Jain is a civil engineer by profession and a joke-cracker by hobby. His first foray into biking was also Kutchh on bike in 2001 and he has been a constant companion to Dr. Kaushik in all his biking trips ever since. The go-getter of the group, he has a formidable list contacts. So, he is probably the one to go to for getting things done Active Rotarian and member of Bombay KVO, he lives in central Mumbai and originally hails from Naranpar, Kutchh in Gujrat. 


Mr. Deepak Savla is a businessman by profession and a very jovial personality. His has been nicknamed "Rangeelo" and is the group entertainer. He joined the Kavi-Ravi duo since their Kanyakumari trip in 2008. He rides a stately Bajaj Avenger and is extremely charming. He can beautifully get us out of tricky situations and into lovely ones. Hence, he is totally indispensable. :P He lives in central Mumbai and originally hails from Bada, Kutchh in Gujrat.








Dr. Chandresh Pasad is also a medical practitioner and a very level-headed and calm person. He is the voice of reason, the responsible member and the confidante of the group. He rides an equally stately Bajaj Avenger. Though medical practitioner, he is also an entrepreneur and being very active in various social organisations, he is a very respected member of the Dombivli KVO group. He lives in Dombivli, Mumbai and originally hails from Dedhia, Kutchh in Gujrat.


Mr. Deepesh Pasad, Dr. Chandresh's brother, is a businessman by profession and a trekker and swimmer by hobby. He is also an entrepreneur, like his brother and he trades principally in pharmaceuticals. He possesses a fabulous sense of humour and is therefore, again, an indispensable part of the group. He lives in Dombivli, Mumbai and originally hails from Dedhia, Kutchh in Gujrat.


Mr. Jitendra Nagda is another businessman by profession and a table tennis buff by hobby. His mature and gentle nature is a gift for everyone in the group. A very religious person, this is the first time he is undertaking such an expedition even though he is a passionate biker and rides the majestic Royal Enfield Bullet. He lives in south Mumbai and originally hails from Mothara, Kutchh in Gujrat.


Mr. Kunal Vora is a freelancing video editor by profession and an ardent cinephile. He loves biking and has already undertaken the same Herculean expedition once before. He is fun-loving, lighthearted and adds a certain element youth to the group. However, he still believes that old is gold and rides the classic Yezdi, the 'tough and durable wonder bike!' He lives in central Mumbai and originally hails from Layja, Kutchh in Gujrat.


Mr. Harakhchand Savla is a social worker, both by profession and by hobby. He is the trustee of the Jeevanjyot Cancer Relief and Care Trust and he enjoys his occasional travels. Compassionate and knowledgeable, he has a special place in his heart for animals. Generally quiet, it is times and projects like this one that brings his adventurous streak out! He lives in Mulund and originally hails from Bada, Kutchh in Gujrat.




We're delighted to welcome three more members in our entourage, two of whom have joined us from Kargil onwards:


Mr. Arun Singh is a Medical Practitioner, living and practising in Dombivli. Originally from Benaras, Uttar Pradesh, he joined the KVO Bikers as he a KVO (Gundala, Kutchh) son-in-law. ;)


Mr. Sachin Savla, a young businessman from Malad, Bombay is originally from Mothara,  Kutchh, Gujrat and is related to Mr. Jitendra Nagda. Bike enthusiast that he is, he couldn't stop himself from joining the Bike Riders, even if it was a couple of days late. 




Mr. Rashesh Shah is originally from Rajula, Gujrat and lives in Bombay. He is a businessman too and joined the Bike Riders gang along with Mr. Sachin Savla.
