KVO (Kutchhi Visa Oswal) is a vibrant community buzzing with all sorts of community projects. One such project for the trekking enthusiasts is a group called "Kutchhi Trekkers". Along the same lines, a bunch of us biking enthusiasts decided that we should have such a group for bikers as well. Thus, "The Bike Riders" was born. And even though all of us are only Kutchhis in this group, the motto of our latest biking expedition is to experience and accept the multifariousness of India and its geographical as well as cultural richness.
Our K2K (Kashmir to Kanyakumari) project is our endeavour to bike through the vertical expanse of India in about 20 days and along the way, meet people from various cities and cultures, make friends all over India and leave a little memory in some people's and some cities' hearts. We are all for the new motto of the new India: "All for one and one for all" and are proud to be so. At the same time, our sense of adventure compels us to feel and confront all sorts of geographical terrains while traversing such a wide range of land.
The adventure streak in us and our passion for biking has been our driving force behind this project. So, here we are, embarking on the journey, making a solemn promise to ourselves that difficulties notwithstanding, this trip will be one of the most memorable trips of our lives as also, just a beginning for "The Bike Riders", who will surely undertake many more such expeditions in future.
